Metax shearlines has been on the market for nearly 30 years, and STEMA/PEDAX has improved it since by a higher output due to modern control technology and other product improvements. The most distinguishing features are the unrivalled, stopless pull-in feed and measuring system operating at high speed, with maximum accuracy and designed for minimum reaction and acceleration times.

STEMA/PEDAX offers two Metax models:

Metax G:

• Stopless measuring and pull-in feeding system.
• Hydraulic shear with 140 mm blade cutting width.
• Revolving measuring and distribution channel.
• Three transport and collection tracks (conveyors), diversion gates.
• Siemens S 7 technology, Panel PC.
• Bosch-Rexroth hydraulics.
• Soft-start motors for cross traversing the carriage.

Option:

• Scanner or online operation.
• Positioning and distribution channel.

Metax Geco:

• Excellent price/performance ratio.
• Stopless measuring and pull-in feeding system.

• Two collection and transport tracks.
• Exceptionally robust design for long service life.
• Siemens and Bosch-Rexroth technology.
• Distances between the traversing mechanisms, as well as the cutting lengths can be adapted to meet individual customer needs.
